The literary festival "Poetry and Music – the inner fire of real talent", held at the Lyceum School No. 1 in Kostanay, was timed to coincide with two significant dates in the field of literature. This year, two anniversaries of famous poets are celebrated: the 135th anniversary of the birth of A.A. Akhmatova and the 100th anniversary of B.Sh.Okudzhava. Wonderful poets have left an indelible mark in the hearts of many connoisseurs of poetry, and the memory of their work will warm the souls of admirers of their talent for a long time.
Representatives of our school took part in this event. A vocal group consisting of three eighth-graders: Tatyana Kohanets, Alyona Shalapina and Ekaterina Gorobets performed B.Okudzhava's song "Grape Seed" ("Georgian Song") and took 2nd place. A letter of thanks was received by the head of the group, R.R. Bondar.
